Matthew Peterdy has more than a decade of experience as an accomplished litigator in state and federal court.  Mr. Peterdy is also an experienced appellate attorney who first argued before the Nevada Supreme Court in October 2007; and he now practices law throughout the State of California as well.  He represents a wide range of clients including business owners, property owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and other individuals and professionals in a variety of legal areas.  Mr. Peterdy is a results-oriented litigator focused on efficiently and effectively resolving litigation ranging from complex contract disputes, product liability, premises liability, and construction defect claims to professional liability defense and claims involving multi-million dollar tort actions.  Additionally, Mr. Peterdy has depth of experience evaluating and resolving claims related to contract disputes, construction defect, commercial and residential real property disputes, business disputes, fraud, intentional torts, and personal injury claims.  He continually works in an effort to minimize and reduce any possible defense costs and strategically utilizes law and motion practice to have claims dismissed early on whenever possible.  Mr. Peterdy always endeavors to enable his clients to resolve claims early in litigation and/or negotiate resolutions to disputes to obtain the most favorable results for his clients.

Mr. Peterdy received his juris doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2004, with concentrations in both civil and criminal law; following his cum laude graduation from Niagara University in 2001, where he majored in Philosophy, with minors in Criminal Justice and Sociology.  He is currently licensed to practice law in New York (2005); North Carolina (2005); Nevada (2005); California (2006); U.S. District Court, District of Nevada, and 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.  In his free time, Mr. Peterdy has many interests and enjoys nature, traveling, and spending time with his dog.
