Mr. Gloger is a graduate of UCLA, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1973, and of Loyola Law School, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1976. Mr. Gloger began his legal career as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served throughout the U.S. and abroad as both a trial counsel and legal advisor to Senior Marine Commanders. While on active duty, he was also appointed as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Honolulu, Hawaii for one year. Following his release from active duty in 1988, he remained active in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, from which he retired in 1997 as a Lieutenant Colonel. Since 1988, Mr. Gloger has been a civil litigator, specializing in insurance defense. He has concentrated his practice in construction defect, product liability and personal injury. Mr. Gloger was a Senior Litigation Attorney with CIGNA Corporation for six years, during which time he was in charge of all of their construction defect litigation in San Diego County. Mr. Gloger has tried many criminal and civil cases to verdict, including a jury defense verdict defending a developer against a million dollar construction defect claim. He is also a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.
